Five words America needs to hear, and particularly her base needs to know. She SHOULD BE IN JAIL.
When you’re standing in front of the press moderators for the 2nd Presidential Debate, and realize that you’re not debating against your opponent, but rather against your opponent AND the MODERATORS, you have to step up your game. Donald J. Trump stepped up his game last night. He rocked it! In fact, you might even go so far as to say, he WON the election last night, with five little words.
Because, You’d be in Jail!
The audience sworn to silence went wild, thunderous applause, laughter, and Trump never broke the grim, stern, determined look on his face. (Although I thought I might have seen a crinkle at the corner of his right eye.) Throughout the evening debate, Trump was jarringly dismissed by moderators determined to limit his time. Clinton did not receive the same treatment. She was allowed on several occasions to go over her time, extending her accusations and trolling the audience. Her efforts failed miserably.
She may have entered the debate the front runner in this campaign, but she left a wounded and failing attempt. Donald Trump hit the reset button with his response to the damning audio released just in time for the pre-debate storm. Her plan failed. She didn’t get to carry the crowd, or the topic, or the show. She spent her time attempting to defend, lying more and more to the people, and denying her involvement in the crimes of the Secretary of State over the past eight years. In short, she used her usual lines of ‘distract and deny’, but they didn’t work. The people have awakened, and they’re seeing her for what she is.
Particularly, Donald J. Trump showed up at the debate last night, and took her down.
In discussing the reality of what Trump said, Steve Dorman, political leader in the Denver metro area, said, “The people who might most benefit from a Trump presidency are the middle class and the poor……particularly the inner city poor. And I don’t think they give a tinker’s damn about his vulgar mouth. They just want a better life….which is exactly what would happen with lower tax rates for all, and a revived respect and expectation of law and order. The inner city poor are not only drowning, they are having their heads held by force under water by Democrats. Democrats who fight tooth and nail against true education reform.”
More of the topic comes about, as discussions about tax reform, lowering tax rates, and cutting taxes, because the benefits to the poor, middle class, and inner cities, becomes paramount to who wins in this election. Those who need the benefit of jobs, businesses, and a double down in the values of living well don’t give a rats ass about Trump’s vulgarity, they want a job. They want to be able to afford to buy food without government support. They want to be able to purchase a home, because housing is affordable, not because some government proclamation makes them eligible to purchase with no down payment. People want to be independent, and those people benefit from a President who believes in Capitalism and the benefit of making our nation a great center of economic success again.
Democrats fight tooth and nail against these options, fighting to keep control of the lower paid among us, by keeping them on the government dole. There are consequences for taking money from the government, and strings are attached. The Democrats want your vote.
Trump offers a different outcome. Independence. Opportunity. Choice.
Inner city living for many is not a choice, there’s no other option. People who live there believe they have no choice but to stay there, starving, fighting for their entitlements, and battling to survive. Reality is, they have choices. They don’t have to maintain their entitlements, they could get jobs, earn a way to support themselves and their families and live better lives. Working builds self esteem and confidence. The options grow when you have confidence.
After the debate last night Steve Dorman said,
Charles Krauthammer had an excellent analogy last night. Many years ago, Yale was heavily favored in a football game against Harvard. But Harvard tied the game 29-29.
The next day’s Harvard school paper headline was
“Harvard wins 29-29!”
And so it was last night. Hillary went in as the heavy favorite, but an amazing performance by Trump re-set the playing field back to level. This in spite of some biased moderating.
About deviant press actions, reactions, and talk of bias, Lucille Zimmerman reported,
Bill O’Reilly just said three big news organizations have put out a memo that if any of their staff support Donald Trump they’ll be fired.
You don’t have to like Trump but it’s scary to live in a country were news reporters don’t get to support whomever they think is the best candidate.
Considering the resulting conversations, between many voters, the topic of who won the debate is still being discussed. So, who won?
If there is justice anywhere in the world,Trump won this match, because of the timely release of information. MSN claims to have had access to this information for most of the past eleven years, and yet they sat on it until this particular time, to release it. Political games played between candidates are bad enough, but when the press starts playing the game against a candidate, using figurative morals as a reason to dismiss a candidate, there’s an issue at a lower level than ever before known.
Principles people. They make a difference, especially in the press corp.
